Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Not so long if he is using singleton disks and one controller for both
the tape and disks. For an array with multiple controllers and tapes
on a separate channel yes slow. Of course we do not know what kind of
tape drive he has either, a 1MB/minute drive will take 17 hours just to
read the tapes, while a 10MB/minute DLT drive will do the job in under
2 hours.
