Informix 11.70.FC5GE OS: Linux openSUSE 11.3 (x86_64) Every 10 seconds I get message in online.log: 08:44:00 SCHAPI: [post_alarm_message 0-580664] Error -1265 Overflow occurred on a datetime or interval operation. 08:44:10 SCHAPI: [post_alarm_message 0-580664] Error -1265 Overflow occurred on a datetime or interval operation. it seems that everything works fine on the server, except this messages ... Bounce Informix and restart Linux did not help. Server has worked 3 years without this message. Does anyone have any ideas?
This is coming from Client side operation. Either any of your program or=20
SQL at DB access is calculating some INTERVAL for Datetime field.Check the =
precision that is specified for an INTERVAL value. If the INTERVAL value=20
that you want to enter is greater than the default number of digits that=20
are allowed for that field, you must explicitly identify the number of=20
significant digits in your definition.=20
Use onstat -g SQL to findout what all queries are running.
Thanks,,

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, that's what I thought, but the message appears non-stop even when
there is not an active client on the server !
I found (and resolve) the problem:
On database sysadmin in one task was wrong tk_next_execution value
(3918- 11-09 00:03:31) because someone mistakenly set system time on the
server, for a moment ...

Not client side. The message is coming from some task running in the Task
Manager. You have to track that down. Look in the sysadmin:ph_task table to
see what tasks are running at the times when the messages come out and
whittle the list down until you figure it out.
