Installer error - Innovator-C

Hi, I'm trying install Innovator-C 12.10 FC6IE on OpenSuse Leap 42.1 . Running the installer with root . At the end of install got the error bellow. I look for the script and found nothing . (RUNasroot.install) All files/folders wasn't update to owner informix , so pretty sure this install will not work. There is no option to download the FC5 and check if this is a problem of FC6 ... Anyone knows if this is a bug of the installer ? or at least an idea to workaround this ? =============================================================================== Installing... ------------- [==================|==================|==================|==================] [------------------|------------------|------------------|------------------] =============================================================================== An error occurred during post installation. ------------------------------------------- An error occurred while running chmod on runasroot install chmod: cannot access âRUNasroot.installserverâ: No such file or directory Regards Cesar
Cesar:
Certainly you should open a PMR. I have not run into this one for 12.10.FC6.
One thing you can try is that there are files in $INFORMIXDIR/etc named
<package>files that contains lists of files and the correct permissions and
ownerships for each. Ex:
$ dir $INFORMIXDIR/etc/*file*
-rw-r--r-- 1 informix informix 28547 Mar 4 2015
/opt/informix/infmx/etc/clientsdkfiles
-rw-r--r-- 1 informix informix 34845 Mar 4 2015
/opt/informix/infmx/etc/glsfiles
-rw-r--r-- 1 informix informix 35052 May 7 2015
/opt/informix/infmx/etc/Glsfiles
-rw-r--r-- 1 informix informix 105007 May 7 2015
/opt/informix/infmx/etc/IIFfiles
-rw-r--r-- 1 informix informix 2514 Mar 4 2015
/opt/informix/infmx/etc/messagefiles
-rw-r--r-- 1 informix informix 4855 May 7 2015
/opt/informix/infmx/etc/Messagefiles
You can try writing a script to parse the files (all the same format) and
use the information to correct the file permissions, etc. The files also
identify which files need to be "branded" with a serial number, however,
IBM no longer does that.

I just installed 12.10FC6 innovator and I have no problem. You can find mine RUNasroot.install file attached (I did default installation). You can try to run that script as root.
