Sandip You can setup Environment variables and access them from within 4GL programs using FGL_GETENV(). I have made a programme which is accessed 4 database.. All 3 database is accessed by their 3 different sqlexeced damon. It is running fine.. But if I want to run that same programme another location of our country then I have to change the dbserver name.. Like in our location sql script is.. select x,y,z from aaa@ccusss But our different location is holding different dbserver name.. Like Bangalore's machine dbserver name is blrsss, Bombay machine dbserver name is bomsss.. So my query is how I can define this dbserver name in any environment variable.. Otherwise I have to compile it different times with different dbserver name. Regards Sandip Samanta
