Even in this case - you can run fuser on chunks in the dbsapce, but you will see that this files/devices are used only by informix(or root). No other users in report !!! To check who is using your temp dbspaces you should use the sysmaster database. You could start querying systabnames, sysdbstab and sysdbspartn tables. At least you can see what temp tables were created in temp dbspaces, but you have to dig deeper to find the information on what space in temp dbspaces are used for ordering/joining/grouping ... I can't tell now how to do this. May be others can.
