Re: Getting HTTP_REFERER from Web Datablase?
Posted in 1998
Hi Tony, I'm using Web Datablade 3.32.UC2, and calling as a CGI. I turned on webdriver tracing, and from the SQL statement that contains WebExplode function call, HTTP_REFERER appears once a blue moon, most other times not. Kinda weird. Ah wait, I think I know what's going on. HTTP_REFERER will only be set if a page is called by a click on <A HREF>, rite? So if I enter the URL directly at my browser to call a page, HTTP_REFERER will not be set. That kinda explains why, as my AppPage is called by a JavaScript (window.location.href="/cgi-bin/webdriver?MIval=my_new_page"). Is there anyway to overcome this? Thanks, tata. p.s. Apart from the Web Datablade release note, any other place can I find info on how to configure the AppPage caching?
