Duck, run, go wild, suggest bobbing and weaving. Ok, here's the deal: O/S Deff's AIX 4.3.3 don't even screw around with the older versions, though the release notes say to use 4.3.2 AIX 4.3.3 gets cranky with shared memory segments, try to make your allocation big in proportion to the amount of memory informix will use. Informix 7.3 yes yes yes. Much faster than 7.2 IMHO, we've noticed no problems with our upgrade, just dropped our indexes and rebuilt them email me if you have any questions brett Nebojsa Sevo wrote: > > We have plans to upgrade from AIX4.1/Informix 7.20 WG to AIX 4.3x/Informix 7.3x > WG. > Reading NG I've noticed that there are some problems with those new versions.
