Solutions to Upgrade from 7.30.uc5 to 7.31.uc5 broke Peoplesoft

With the new 7.31 optimizer the Nvision settings had to be changed to fix the queries. The Peoplesoft admin got the information from Tech Notes article by Kevin Fennimore Vol 9 Issue 3 1999. Subquery flattening could be the culprit, but it was a problem in the 7.30 versions. Hopefully the issue had been resolved before the 7.31 code was released.
