Informix 2.1 challanges

Chaps A major career move has given me the opportunity to work with the new Informix 2.10.03F and it's accompanying Version 1 RDS (!$%' Not !! ). As you are aware this has some major advantages like not being able to do the following: I wish to use F10 as accept ( No probs here ) and F3 to leave an input Problem is: Because F3 is not accept then it does not see the data in the current field buffer before exiting. I am aware of get_fldbuf but it is not available and the result is that whichever field is the current field when I hit F3 gets returned to it's original value before input (usually NULL ). Any work arounds here ?! Additionally I keep getting 4518 errors from the crappy code which has been written. The manuals from Informix are as usual a guideing light on the subject. What really causes this ? It cannot be the return statements because all that it being returned are status codes. Perhaps the number of CALL statements has a limit, or problems with this product and the memory ? Any help appreciated Terry PS Anybody got a decent job going >!?''$""!!
