Can this be done easily with Online? Using a judicious mixture of dbspaces to partition your system, tbload and tbunload to handle the backups and restores, and a good deal of care, a similar system can be devised to handle OnLine instead of SE. It would probably be regarded as more difficult, simply because the tools are not the standard Unix tools, but actually is not all that much different. Handling the archiving of such a volatile OnLine system might be entertaining. Version 6 should make it better with its superior archiving capabilities.
