I use c4gl c4gl -o myfile.4ge myfile.ec The only problem is if it complains about missing .h files e.g. cannot find sqlca.h. You then need to do cp $INFORMIXDIR/incl/*.h . cp $INFORMIXDIR/incl/tools/*.h . and then the c4gl will work.
