Segmentation fault error

Hi, it means that the programming that was running tried to access some specific memory but wasn't allowed to do so. The OS slapped the program on it's fingers upon which the program poured its core into a file (usually named "core") and terminated. You can find this "core" file somewhere on your system and possibly do post mortem analysis with a debugger. As the information you've given is just a bit short, I can't really tell more from this.
