Gary: Within Veritas (we 2.6), use the vxva utility verify your settings. Select a volume and confirm the "Usage Type". For raw, this is set to "gen". Also, check the "Stripe Unit Size". Through testing, we have found that a SUS of 16 is good for OLTP and a SUS size of 64 is good for DSS. Also, it looks like your permissions are not set correctly. Remember to "chmod 660 /dev/vx/rdsk/informixdg/vol01".
