I have been designing files/databases for over 15 years, so I did not take the class. Our company did purchase the Computer Based Training (CBT) material for this and I did start through it. However, I found it too theoritical to of be more than casual use. >>Structured Query Language Again, depends on experience. We also purchased the CBT for this and I found it very useful. I actually got a lot of SQL experience taking the 4GL course so I skipped this course. Our advanced developers skipped this, but we sent our entry-levels to this after they had taken the CBT because they did not have much programming experience to being with. >>Developing Applications Using INFROM<IX-4GL Strongly recommend. I found the class very useful and the instructor very good. She was able to relate what we were learning in class to questions I had about our current environment and provide some advanced information that the course itself did not cover. >>Advanced INFORMIX-4GL Development If you are going to be doing a lot of 'C'/4gl cross development, or the r4gl/i4gl tools are not sufficient for your needs, yes.
