initialization problem

Hello everybody!
I gotta problem.
I get an error while initializing informix.
oninit: Fatal error in shared memory creation.
Version; IDS 2000 on SCO 7.1.0
I undrestand that the total memory (i:e memory segments) that informix
intends to grab is exceding the maximum OS limit for a single process. But I
could not understand the problem with CPU poll threads exceeding the
NUMCPUVPS. Also where should I check for the memory parameters in unix.
Virtual memory allocated: 1024 Kb
Resident memory allocated: 1500 Kb.
Add virtual memory segment: 1024 Kb.
