dbexport is not working on database

When I try to export the sysmaster database I get pseudo tables - can't build schema. Does any body know what that means. I am on informix 9.3 and AIX 4.3.3 Command entered is: dbexport -t /dbdump/sysmaster -b 1024 -s 1900000 sysmaster Database has pseudo tables - can't build schema

Dont touch sysmaster (or sysutils) it is a special database. You have no reason to export it. It means what it says. You cannot export it. The sysmaster database is not "real". The psuedo tables refer to the same SHM areas that the onstat commands use. There actually are some "real tables" in sysmaster that were predominantly used by onarchive. But as mentioned, the majority of the tables are views into shared memory. Mark. There are couple of "real tables" used by onaudit utility as well ...
