Your ONCONFIG looks fine as far as checkpoints are concerned, I suspect the
server was just very busy for some reason. You might want to set
RESIDENT -1
You also might want to set
AFF_SPROC 1
as processor 0 is often the system's preferred CPU for OS work.
RA_THRESHOLD should be fairly close to RA_PAGES, so try 32 and 28. Also, do
you really need TBLSPACE_STATS on?
