Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

hi guys,
The database was crashed on yesterday with the
following error message on the online.log
11:06:13 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 8
seconds.
11:11:22 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 6
seconds.
11:11:26 Logical Log 15169 Complete.
11:11:27 Logical Log 15169 - Backup Started
11:11:34 Logical Log 15169 - Backup Completed
11:34:52 The Master Daemon Died
11:34:52 PANIC: Attempting to bring system down
The information above is not helpful, where else can I
look at to find out the root cause of this incident.
Thanks in advance.
Lee

99% of the time you should see an assertion failure. The oninit can not
trap kill -9's which is the 1%.
I just recreated this error by kill -9 the pid of the cpu VP from onstat
-g glo. It yielded:
13:37:57 Checkpoint loguniq 2699, logpos 0x70044
Tue Aug 29 13:20:30 2000
13:20:30 The Master Daemon Died
13:20:31 PANIC: Attempting to bring system down
