What I conclude from my dealings with them is: 1) - They don't know much about networks on IBM AIX. 2) - If they decide it is to much trouble to fix a bug in their product, they will change the name of the bug fix to a feature, then maybe in the future they will include the feature in a new release. 3) - For a database company they keep poor records of their customers, they cannot tell me what level of support I am at, nor can they ship me programs on the correct media. 4) - They cannot support you via email even though they have an Internet connection, what a shame. They told me "so that nothing got lost I had to talk with them on the telephone". 5) + They are quick to call you back and discuss your problem. 6) - Support is very expensive. 7) - They have pointed their finger at the operating system for a problem I am having with their product. A definite black mark in my book, I hate finger pointers. Bruce Bramhall email bruce@tkg.com These are my opinions and not those of The Kernel Group or IBM.
