shmbase parameter

I try to downgrade from IDS 9.21.FC5 to 9.21.UC6 I only got UC6 running with a newly created onconfig file and I can't restore the db I backed up before using ontape. I found that the only parameter that can't be set to the same value as the old versions onconfig was, is shmbase. Can anybody tell me, how I can do the downgrade without this parameter being changed?
