ORDER BY in view definitions is not included in the SQL standard
SQL-99, or in SQL-2003 (draft).
An easy way to find out if an SQL statement is standard compliant is
to use the SQL Validator, a free online tool verifying SQL standard
compliance:
http://developer.mimer.com/validator/
It has support for SQL-92, SQL-99, and SQL-2003 (draft).
