4gl Error
Hi,
I installed informix v7_30 (sql,4gl,On-Line) on a i586 based linux server.
I have
problems with 4gl compiled programs when I execute:
DATABASE databasename
GLOBALS
DEFINE chimpum RECORD LIKE tablename.*
END GLOBALS
MAIN
SELECT * INTO chimpum.*
FROM tablename
END MAIN
(This program is an example for the real program)
And the error is:
Pogram stopped at "program.4gl", line number 8.
4GL run-time error number -9971.
Cannot determine the return types of a query or return types are
inconsistent.
(This program is OK in a Informix-HP)
