Unable to compile esql/c in version 7.23
I am unable to compile esql/c programs in version 7.23 on a Intel box
with SCO Unixware. I get:
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
_xttyname_r /home/informix/lib/libixasf.so
_xreaddir_r /home/informix/lib/libixasf.so
_xgetlogin_r /home/informix/lib/libixasf.so
UX:ld: ERROR: gentables: fatal error: Symbol referencing errors. No
output
written to a.out
$
$ esql -V
INFORMIX-ESQL Version 7.23.UC9
I even tried the Hello World program with the same result. The program
can be compiled ok with the cc

The problem could not be solved, so we downgraded to version 7.20.UC1 and
everything is fine.
There must be a wrong library on the CD. Now we have ordered version 7.22
and
then we'll se if there still is a problem.
