Try using -
select column1 as c1, column2 as c2
from table
if still it does not work, try following.
run the sql from dbaccess -
unload to myfile.out
select column1, column2, column3...
from table
go to the prompt and run -
$ cat myfile.out | awk -F '|' '{ print $1,$2,$3 }'
This should work.
