dbimport and extents

When running DBIMPORT to import a previously DBEXPORTed database, does Informix recalculate extent sizes?? The <database_name>.sql doesn't appear to refer to extent sizes but systables shows fextsize varying from table to table - ie not the default and nextsize is 10% of fextsize. Using Infomrix 7.23UC9. No not explicitely. What is happening is that since the tables are being created and loaded one at a time extent compression and extent doubling are combining to give you a naturally sized initial extent, however, extent compression tends to supress extent doubling resulting in a smaller NEXT SIZE than might be idea.
