Hi I never use the Informix database but now I must install and configur it. Maybe somebody know how do this (Help me plis): How I can install Informix under Suse Linux ??? Andhow run this ??? Where I find how-to document about installation and configuration Informix???? I want to use this database with Windows client...What can I do and how??? Best Regards Indy

Hi at first chek if informix user and group exist then find out witch Informix DB you want to use InformixStandardEngine (SE) InformixDynamicServer 7.3 (IDS) InformixOnlineServer 2000 ... Download it for example : - IDS 7.3 UC10 DBMS Server - Connect 2.10 Connect Package - CSDK 2.xxx Client Software Developmant Kit On Informix Pages You can Find Installation Instructions for Linux in PDF Format Read the docu carefull You have to set many ENVIROMANT variables f.e.
