Try set environment variable INFORMIXDIR to the director where you have installed the code. On Windoze set INFORMIXDIR as a system environment variable. If you want better help, tell what Informix version and OS you're using.

now i just able to complete the installation. but another error message 'Invalid serial number. Please consult your installation instructions.
