Code-Set-Conversion files problem ?
Posted in 2000
Hi all: I am running DBD::Informix on client(CODESET is CHINESE) to access Dynamic Server (CODESET is CHINESE ccdc),but a got an error messages:-23104 The Client side env variables are: $CLIENT_LOCALE="zh_tw.big5" $DB_LOCALE="zh_tw.ccdc" The Server side env variables are:$DB_LOCALE="zh_tw.ccdc" #finderr -23104 /home/informix/bin/finderr: test: integer expression expected before -ge -23104Error opening required code-set conversion object file. No object code-set conversion (definition) file exists for the two given code sets. The environment variables DB_LOCALE or CLIENT_LOCALE might have been set to the wrong value, which caused an error condition to be generated. The files might also be missing, or the information that they contain might be garbled. Check the value of the environment variable CLIENT_LOCALE or DB_LOCALE. The object conversion files usually have the .cvo extension. I guess that these files:$INFORMIXDIR/gls/cv9/e001e008.cvo and e008e00a.cvo were not exist,so happen such error !! Can someone tell me how to generate these files ? and place these files at Server or Client machine ? Thank you David clw@ms19.url.com.tw
