Informix on FreeBSD problem

I am trying to run Informix 7.30 for Linux on FreeBSD 3.4. I am getting an error: bsd_nsf_flush: pid = 6172 spipe = -1 errno = 9 and record in online.log: Assert Failed: nsfpipe.c, line 2096, read 10, errno 9, spipe error. Any information on why this is happening and way to fix this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Yuri.

If the former, an upgrade to the latter will probably sort the trouble out.
