Temp Tables

I am running INFORMIX 4.0 standard engine and 4gl. I am currently experiencing problems with temporary tables. I am getting the following errors -565 Cannot read sorted rows and -101 file is not open. On a another program it is not creating files unloaded from a temp table. This program fails if I run the .4ge, but if I run the .4gi it runs okay. I have my DBPATH set to a directory where the temp tables are placed. Can I delete the *.dat and *.idx files for the temp tables? If so do I need to have all users off the system? Any help would be appreciated. Please e-mail me at jjg@rawlings.iglou.com.
