RE: dbimport - Long Transaction Aborted
When doing a dbimport of a large database (i.e., larger than your logical
logs / long-transaction parameters can handle), do NOT set your logging mode
on the dbimport command line ("-l" or "-l buffered"). Instead, just let it
do the default of unlogged mode for the database. After the dbimport is all
done, then go back with ontape / onbar and change the logging mode to what
you want.

The ontape -c to tape is not going to help u
in avoiding long transactions.
It must be baking up the logical logs.
But backing up the logical logs has nothing to
do with the Long Transaction.
Check ur Long Transaction parameters in onconfig.
Add logical logs to increase the logical log space.
Can u send onconfig file ?
