Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi Cheryl!
Prior to 7.10.UD1 version of DSA a logical log was marked as free for
RE-USE once it was backed up. The onstat -l would indicate the FREE
state by displaying a flag "F" in the respective column.
The New strategy (As of 7.10.UD1) is to not free a logical log as soon
as possible, instead, they are freed JUST prior to RE-USE. The OnLog
will benefit from this strategy because the logs will be available to it
for longer period of time. The disadvantage is that onstat -l will no
longer indicate ahead of time that a log is available for RE-USE.
