Database Down: Chunk Failed Sanity Check, Bad Pfget

Hello,
We are running SAP using Informix on Unix. The database was fine. Then, a
level '0' archive failed. The database stopped.
The first message in the online log indicating failure is:
I/O error, Primary Chunk 'informix/M01/sapdata/physdev3/data1 offline (sanity)
chunk failed sanity check
The SAP utility to start the database failed with the following error:
Assert Failed: WARNING! pthdrpage:ptalloc: bad bfget
Who: Session(10, informix@SAPMAR,0, -947420584)
Thread(43, xchg_1.6, c785a8b0, 1)Resuts: Cannot use TBLSpace page for TBLSpace 4194305
Action: RUn 'oncheck -pt 4194305'.
Then I tried bringing up the database using 'oninit' (No other options). No
error was indicated on the prompt, but, once again, the online log had
indicated the following problems:
'I/O error, Primary check '/informix/M01/sapdata/physdev3/data1' line(sanity).
chunk failed sanity check.
Then, the message '/informix/M01/sapdata/physdev6/data1' line (sanity)
chunk failed sanity check
The 'Asset Failed' error message previously mentioned then appeared.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Does the 'bad pfget' imply a
problem with an index?
Thanks,
Ishay Friedman
