Network connection is broken Message

Has anyone encountered this type of problem: We are running an Informix application using INFORMIX-4GL Version 6.03.UD1 on a SunOS sparcstation running solaris under CDE. When we invoke the Informix application from a directory whose length is > 75 characters (including the '/') we receive the following message: Program stopped at "doclib.4gl", line number 64. 4GL run-time error number -25582. Network connection is broken. [Line number 64 where the program stopped is a blank line.] We are able to invoke the same application from a directory whose length is more than 75 characters on a SunOS4 machine without problems.
