onstat -D output

Hello, We have a table that we know has has no less that 10k rows added to it since yesterday. Yet, when I do an onstat -D on the chunks that the table is stored in, it shows zero writes. Is there some bug I don't know about ? Or is there any way that the stats could have been zeroed ? Nobody has run onstat -z, and the database has been up for a week.
