Informix CLI drivers and MS Access 97

Hi, we have a strange problem with Informix ODBC drivers (CSDK 9.30 2.40.TC1). We try to connect informix tables to access tables via External Data/Connect Tables (i have a german version of Access so this might not be the correct spelling). The Database/DSN chooser appears. I choose ODBC and the DSN where the informix tables reside. A list of informix table appears but the quotes around the user name in the tables is missing, i.e. we get neff.kicrhanl instead of 'neff'.kirchanl. Anyway, the tables are connected but later on access to the tables is not possible because there is no table neff.kirchanl (and there really is not such a table, because correct syntax would be 'neff'.kirchanl). The SCO ODBC drivers work correctly. They show 'neff'.kirchanl. Unfortunately we are moving our databases from SCO boxes to Linux boxes and the SCO ODBC drivers do requiere some SCO daemons to work ... what means I have to abandon the SCO ODBC drivers also (unfortunately). Is there a way to change the behavior of the informix driver to retrieve correct table names ? Is it possible to change the connection between Access tables and Informix manually ? (I have no clue about MS Access and thats a third party app.).
