HP-UX B.11.31 IDS 11.70.FC8W1 Setnet 4.10.TC5 Hi All When I start the connection manager and try to connect from a Ilogin I get a -908 error. I have checked the port setting on both client and server match but still get this error. Any advice will be appreciated. thnx
What matches? The port defined on the client should be the CM "SLA" port. And you have to assure the client has connectivity to the port to which CM is redirecting.... If your clinet and servers are isolated the only option would be to use PROXY mode, which brings several issues into the table... Regards. Flip: I do not see the actual servers in the SQLHOSTS entries you specified, they have to be there. Are they missing or did you just not copy them in? Also there has to be some reference to the actual server names somewhere in the the cm.cfg either by name or by using a group name of which they are a part. Also, some of the cm.cfg settings do not look right to me: CLUSTER rafcs_clustr { INFORMIXSERVER raf_shm_grp SLA raf_shm DBSERVERS=(PRI,SDS) FOC ORDER=SDS TIMEOUT=60 } Art S.
