Product Overview: ================ The Sql Power SniFFFer product line non-intrusively analyzes the SQL network packet flow to an Informix database server for Service Level and SQL transaction performance monitoring. The product does NOT have to run on the database server, NOR on any client workstations connected to the database server. The Sql Power SniFFFer products require NO intrusive database server monitors, agents, probes, audits, monitoring middleware or proxy servers. NO agents are installed on end user workstations. The Sql Power SniFFFer products require NO impact upon the database servers, network or end-users. The Sql Power SniFFFer requires NO installation of middleware, ODBC, Informix client connectivity software and MINIMAL on going DBA support. Product installation is a three step process that can be completed in a few minutes. The product monitors at the SQL transaction level - database server response time, end-user response time, network send and receive time, rows returned, SQL transaction errors and more -- by individual user or group of users. Real-time alerts by SQL transaction may be setup. The SQL transaction flow to a database server can be reconstructed from any time period. All SQL commands, SQL text, executes, and cursor operations (prepare, open, fetch, close, free) are captured or viewed with their performance statistics. The '7x24 Global Sql Monitor' (powered by the Sql Power SniFFFer) summarizes in real-time the database server transaction processing rate, average database server response time, SQL transaction response time, rows returned, network time and more at the SQL transaction level over any specified time interval.
