Informix Online 7.23 Oninit locks up Unixware 2.12

Please Help. When the Informix Online 7.23 oninit process is started on our server running UnixWare 2.12, the server locks up (No response from the console keyboard, all TCP/IP connections are dropped, no disk activity, console mouse freezes). The last message displayed is: "Creating sysmaster tables." All of the system tuning parameters have been set to the values specified by the Informix release notes. The new kernel was rebuilt and is active. Several onconfig files have been tried ( even onconfig.learn ). Both cooked and raw disk space have been tried. The server is a Dell PowerEdge 4200 with dual Pentium II / 300s, 256MB Ram, 4 - 9GB Hard Drives, CD, Tape, etc... My feeling is that additional kernel parameters have to be changed... but which ones?? Maybe the shared memory base address suggested by Informix is incorrect: 0xA000000L. Informix SE 5.01 and Informix SE 7.13 run fine on the server. However, neither of these products were running when we attempted to bring up Online 7.23. Any suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
