1. Where you live has a large impact on salary, both due to demand for people as well as cost of living. 2. Salaries vary quite a bit from company to company as well. 3. As far as hourly wages go, if you go through a headhunter, different headhunters take a varying cuts of your hourly wage. I have seen the same position advertised as the max salary being 65 dollars an hour, and a different headhunter said it was 85.
