RE: How to Identify
Posted in 2000
I have a lovely note from Mr. Avila some time back which explains all of this - let me see if I can dig it up. (ah - I have it in hardcopy). Get the SERVERNUM from the ONCONFIG file 0x5256 + hex(SERVERNUM) yields the start of the key shown by ipcs. if SERVERNUM is 251, converted to hex that is FB 5256 + FB = 5351 ipcs will report something like Share Memory ..... m 202 0x53514802 -rw-rw-rw- root informix Thanks Brice. cheers j. > -----Original Message----- > From: Jagadish Jagadish [mailto:jaggi_informix@yahoo.com] > Sent: Thursday, November 16, 2000 9:54 PM > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: How to Identify > > > > Dear Users, > > I have 3 instance runing in Informix-V7.3, in that > one of my instance hungs.
