Windows 2000 with Inet Inquiry

Tech support at Informix reports that Client SDK/I-net is not certified for Win2000. My site is migrating in the next few months to Win2000 desktop and I am running all my connectvity to my SCO server running Informix SE with this product. Is there anyone out there that has tested and had any luck getting this to run on Win2000 client. I installed but cannot figure out why services file cannot be found or is not defined. Just because it's not certified doesn't mean it won't work:-)) So under Win2000 where has Microsoft decided to put the services file this time, my first guess would be C:\\theyll\\never\\look\\here.
