4GL Developers - Onsite or Remote
Posted in 2000
OK I have a question for all you listers out there... I know that 4GL is not rocket science but would you rather a) hire a 4GL expert who works remotely, maybe with occasional trips to client site for meetings, etc. versus b) paying for someone less experienced to work on-site versus c) hiring a person to temporarily relocate to your site and pay for 'per diem' expenses as well. Obviously working 'ON-SITE' costs more per hour than working remotely and the client still has additional overhead expenses associated with 'cubicle' space. We think we can make this type arrange work for our clients to their complete satisfaction. Try us for a test project - if you aren't completely happy - don't pay our invoice. Trying to put together a reasonable amount of work for a group of 4GL experienced developers - yes we do D4GL too. Want to do as much work as possible here in our offices - we have development machines if you want to go that way or high-speed access to work on the client's machines. We offer experienced Project Management, have worked on multiple projects - both foriegn and domestic. Anyone interested in discussing this scenario contact me at robv@vorbroker.com.
