IECC / DBA tools ????

Hi there, I am trying to learn Informix myself. This is part on my multiple questions. I noticed that the IECC tool is not available in some later release of Informix. I have been suggested to use the new tool Informix Server Administrator (ISA). According to the Readme note, I need to have some kind of HTTP server and ActivePerl installed on the machine and the software has to be installed on the same machine as the database server. Is there any other simpler tool? Basically I just want to administer the database server from a client machine and the client machine can be NT or UNIX. Also, do you happen to know if DBartisan support Informix? Thanks in advance for your help. Tung Nguyen

the install of ISA on NT is long, but that is the hardest part of setting up ISA. Once installed, the configuration of the servers to administer is very easy.
