Hello, I compile a c-program with my linux-box. The following messages appears: /usr/lib/informix/lib/esql/libsql.a(iqutil.o): In function `sqli_stop_whenever': iqutil.o(.text+0xe5d): undefined reference to `_IO_stderr_' iqutil.o(.text+0xe6c): undefined reference to `_IO_stderr_' iqutil.o(.text+0xe7b): undefined reference to `_IO_stderr_' iqutil.o(.text+0xe92): undefined reference to `_IO_stderr_' iqutil.o(.text+0xeae): undefined reference to `_IO_stderr_' /usr/lib/informix/lib/esql/libsql.a(iqutil.o)(.text+0xec7): more undefined refer ences to `_IO_stderr_' follow /usr/lib/informix/lib/esql/libgen.a(gcvio.o): In function `gcvargDB2CLprintf': gcvio.o(.text+0xa63): undefined reference to `_IO_stdout_' /usr/lib/informix/lib/esql/libgen.a(gcvio.o): In function `gcvallargDB2CLprintf' : gcvio.o(.text+0xa93): undefined reference to `_IO_stdout_' /usr/lib/informix/lib/esql/libgen.a(gencoll.o): In function `ifx_hex_dump': gencoll.o(.text+0x4775): undefined reference to `_IO_stdout_' gencoll.o(.text+0x479e): undefined reference to `_IO_stdout_' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status what can I do? Give us some clues! Which version of ESQL/C? Which version of SuSE? It looks to me as if you're using a version of ESQL/C compiled for a different set of glibc libraries than the ones you've got. But, since you gave no information about versions, all I can suggest is you'll need to change version of ESQL/C or C compiler/libraries.
