ODBC configuration problem

Hello, I am unable to configure client running on one machine to connect to Informix Dynamic 2000 server running on another machine in WinNT. I am using Informix ODBC driver 3.31.00 for Win NT. When the client and server are on the same machine, everything works fine. But when client and server are on 2 different machines, and then if I try to configure and test ODBC connection it gives an error that " xyz service/tcp not found in /etc/services. You should add a line of text in services file file://winnt/system32/drivers/etc/services For example you define the services as : test_service Open services file with notepad and add test_service 1526/tcp save the file. So when you configure ODBC, ... put service name as test_service.
