Re: Errors in log file while creating shared memory

David, As you say the kernel parameter is too small, but the system comes online without any problems if we either start Informix after sometime or sometimes after restarting Unix. We have about 1.7 GB physical memory and we are using only 1.1 GB for the total shared memory. In our system always more the 500 MB physical memory is free(as per glance & top) Thanks for the reply.
