Hi to all I have some HTML pages with lots of forms and logic wired, but i need those forms to take and put information into a Digital Unix server running on Informix. I did'nt by now take final step, wich is to link those two worlds. I was cooking a little ideas and i wonder wich will be the best I would like you to give some ideas. 1. Use a client side special tag cgi connected that the one from Visual Foxpro 5.0 or Powerbuilder wich uses native or ODBC acces to the Informix database server. 2. Use some kind of middleware software like JDBC to link into the Informix databases with any active applet in the html. 3. Use a server side cgi script using native 4GL code and processing their output with something like perl to get into html. I really don't know wich of these or maybe other will be better. I realize if any of you had deal with something like this, and i you do, i would really apreciate any commentary about. Thanks in advance, i'll be really glad to hear from you Carlo Marcelo Arenas Bel'n please CC a copy of you response to mail to any of these: mailto:carloa@lapositiva.com.pe mailto:cararen@net.cosapidata.com.pe mailto:carenas@usa.net mailto:cararen@homemail.com mailto:carenas@geocities.com
