Our dynamic Information Systems group has immediate openings in Atlanta, GA for the following positions: Database Manager Required skills: Responsible for managing the strategic and tactical responsibilities for all DBA functions across all platforms (DB2/OS390 and Informix). Prior management responsibility of a support area is a must; cross platform knowledge is highly desirable. Strong people and project management skills are a must. Systems Engineer Required skills: Must have applications development experience using Informix, 4GL; C in Unix environment; C/ESQL, HPUX, Korn shell, ODBC, VB or Access. Systems Engineer Required skills: Qualified candidate must possess experience using Windows 95 (User and Functional level); Windows 95 API knowledge; Visual Basic 4.0; VB tools 4.0; SQL/ODBC; Microsoft Access; programming with 3rd party API's via DLL's, Source Control, Relational Database Concepts, Systems Architecture Concepts. Experience with retail systems, TCP/IP concepts MS-DOS, Unix shell scripting language, Informix 4GL or Assembly Language a plus. Informix Developer Required skills: Qualified candidate must possess superior project and labor management skills, with outstanding management-level verbal and written communications skills. Experience in HR environment, labor scheduling and Kronos required. Must possess extensive experience using C and Informix. Project Team Leader Required skills: Qualified candidate must possess extensive experience in production support in a leadership position. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand business issues and their systems implications. Experience in import business environment is desirable, including purchasing and logistics. Excellent technical aptitude and diagnostic capabilities. Experience with client/server applications, including in-depth knowledge of PCs, Windows 95, ODBC, UNIX, TCP/IP, batch scheduling systems, Visual Basic, Informix and Informix 4GL required. Mainframe experience desirable. Data Modeling Required skills: Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in data modeling (preferably in the retail industry). Basic skills using integrated modeling toolsets, preferably ERwin, required. Familiarity with either MVS or Unix platforms, and any RDBMS, preferably DB2 or Informix, desirable.
