Informix version?
ontape/dbexport/onunload?

dbexport -d mydb -t /dev/mytape -b 256 -s 20971520
20*1024*1024 K = 20971520K
20971520/256 = exactly 81920
Hence the tape size is a multiple of the block size.
The limit on TAPE size for dbexport is 2Tb (2 Terabytes) =2048 Gb
The limit on DISK FILE size for dbexport is 2Gb. Although newer
Informix and OS versions may change this.
